HP : High Performance Longboard
Just back from REAL BVI and the reviews on the Jimmy Lewis HP are amazing. The HP handles it all, from ankle high crumbling wind swell, to overhead Cane Garden Bay point perfection. The HP is an all around high performance longboard shape equally at home power surfing off the tail as it is gliding in the pocket on the nose. This board loves to turn : Full rail bottom turns, roundhouses back into the pocket, or big floaters off the lip, the maneuverability and precision of HP will have you pushing it to the limit. The fin configuration features a 7” center fin, with smaller 3” side biters to produce a well rounded performance in a wide range of conditions. The lighter weight of Jimmy's epoxy sandwich construction really shines in a board like this as it allows you to surf it like a board 1-2 feet shorter, knowing all the way that it has the durability to handle anything you can throw its way.
